30 Day
Complete Obedience Program

Is your dog driving you nuts? Are you getting angry or frustrated? Considering giving up your pet? Have a good dog that you want to be even more proud of?

Have your pet trained to be a well mannered member of your family that will be welcomed by others.

Results are guaranteed for the
life of your dog

Providing that dog is mentally and physically healthy and reasonably socialized.

We train all breeds, mixed breeds
and dogs of all ages.
Many behavior issues can be resolved.

Dogs, like children, need to be taught how to behave properly in order to become well mannered members of the family and society. Our positive method of teaching is fun for dogs. Our method of training doesn’t “break their spirit or kill their will”. Learning manners only enhances the relationship between dogs and humans. Dogs with good manners are included in more activities, allowed more freedom and have more fulfilling lives.

Q: I live far away from your school and would prefer not to drive that distance for my dog to get trained.
A: Not to worry … Circle Star Pet Resort offers an optional round-trip transportation program for your dog so that you don’t have to travel at all. We will arrive at your door and pick-up your dog, transport them safely to school, and then return them back to your home after he/she has successfully completed our training program. We can even teach you how to work with your well trained dog at your home.
Q: Two to four weeks is a long time to be away from my dog. Will he/she miss me? Remember me?
A: We have found that the owners have a harder time being away from the dog than the dog has being away from the owner. Here at school, the doggies are very busy all day long. Although they learn so much while they are here, they also have plenty of time to exercise and play. It doesn’t make a difference if your dog stayed with us for two weeks or two years … he/she will absolutely remember you after attending school.
Q: How many dogs do you train at one time?
A: We take only 6 dogs per trainer. We would rather do a great job with a few dogs than an average job with many. Because we only take a few dogs at a time, we are fresh and happy when we train, not worn out and cranky.
Q: What type of training techniques do you use to train the dogs?
A: Every trainer at Circle Star Pet Resort is here because they LOVE dogs. We use our own unique combination of techniques that are very humane. We are not a one size fits all training school. We get to know your dog. Every training session is tailored to your dog’s unique personality combined with your wants and needs.
Q: Will my dog listen to me if it has been trained by someone else?
A: Yes, we have several full time trainers at Circle Star Pet Resort. Your dog will have training sessions with all of them so that he/she doesn’t get used to responding to just one person. Afterwards, you’ll receive and intensive, one on one, private lesson when you dog graduates. During this session, you will have as much hands on practice with your dog as you need so that your dog is responding appropriately to your commands.
Q: Will my dog actually listen to my commands when there is a lot of other “stuff” going on?
A: Yes! After we teach your dog the basic commands and we know that he/she completely understands them, we add distractions. We use food on the ground, loose dogs, other people, cars, tractors, horses and cattle as distractions. Your dog will learn to ignore everything else but your command.
Q: Will my dog be happy and well cared for while away at school? He/she is very spoiled at home.
A: Our four legged students are treated like royalty at Circle Star Pet Resort. Our school is like camp for dogs! There is so much to do, they may not even miss you!
Q: Can I come visit my dog while it’s being trained?
A: Absolutely! You can come visit your dog anytime you’d like. No appointments necessary. We are very proud of our operation and invite you to “drop in” on us anytime. We are open from 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. every day of the year. We are closed from 12-1 for lunch.
Q: My dog is on a special diet and medication. Will you continue this while he/she is at school?
A: Your dog’s health and well being are our #1 concern at Circle Star Pet Resort. We will administer any type of medication that your dog needs at no extra charge. Special diets are taken very seriously and will be strictly followed while your dog is here.
Q: What is the average day like for my dog while attending Circle Star Pet Resort school?
A: Your dog will have a very full day. First he/she will have breakfast. Then, with your permission, your dog will be matched with a buddy and let out onto the play yard. There are forts, pools, bacon flavored bubble machines, giant dog popsicles and lots of toys on the play yard. Afterwards, the agility trainer will take him/her for a private lesson on the agility equipment. We do this for fun, for co-ordination and for confidence! If your dog still has an over abundance of energy, with your permission, we will gladly teach him or her how to jog on the treadmill. When your pet is relaxed, we will begin school. These lessons are fun for dogs. Somewhere during the day, we’ll get a great photo of your dog having fun and post it on face book that night. At the end of the day, your dog will have dinner and settle in for a relaxing evening with soft lamplight and music.
Q: What does 36 years of training experience actually mean to me?
A: It means that your pet is in the capable hands of someone with vast experience, who has many different ways of achieving results depending on how your pet likes to learn. Years of experience also produces great timing, making it easy for your pet to get the fast feedback they need to succeed.
